Our Services
Our approach balances practical, evidence-based techniques with genuine human connection. Whether you're navigating a recent challenge or unpacking long-standing patterns, we're here to listen without judgment and collaborate on a plan that fits your needs. We draw from proven therapeutic models while keeping our conversations grounded, compassionate, and relevant to your everyday experience.
What to Expect
Therapy sessions are 50 minutes and offered through a secure video platform, with in‑office appointments available for clients located in Orange County, California.
Your first session focuses on introductions, informed consent, and the start of a collaborative assessment exploring significant life events, current concerns, and personal strengths. This assessment phase typically spans the first three sessions. By the third meeting, once there is a shared understanding of your needs and therapeutic direction, a treatment plan will be created using S.M.A.R.T. goals—Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time‑bound. From there, targeted interventions begin, with progress revisited every few weeks and your plan adjusted as needed to reflect what’s working and what may have shifted in your life. Progress is measured through patient‑reported outcome measures, standardized rating scales, and screening tools. Throughout the process, the focus remains on building a rhythm of support that feels consistent, flexible, and centered on your lived experience.
For couples, the structure is similar, with the exception that the second session is divided into two individual meetings. This allows for a deeper understanding of each partner’s history, strengths, and perspectives before continuing the work together as a couple.
For minors, the structure is similar, with the exception that the first session includes the caregiver. This provides an opportunity for caregivers to share their perspective on the child’s strengths, challenges, and concerns they’ve observed. When appropriate, caregivers may be invited to participate in future sessions, as they play an essential role in supporting the skills learned in therapy and reinforcing them at home. This collaborative approach strengthens progress, builds consistency, and creates a supportive environment for the child’s growth. Please note that children 12 years and older may choose not to have a caregiver present.
